Chhaya Kapadia\u00a0<\/b>is the Senior Operations Lead for New America's Technology & Democracy issue area.<\/p>\r\n

Kapadia was the Chief of Staff for New America's Open Technology Institute, where she guided OTI's strategic direction, management, staffing, and funding in service of a world where all communities can have access to digital technologies and their benefits. As an advocate, she focuses on issues ranging from broadband access and affordability to the different facets of privacy online, She served as OTI's interim director throughout 2022.<\/p>\r\n
